Discount Cannondale 800
The Cannondale Road Warrior 800 exudes an aura of ruggedness. This bike has the
TruVatiV Elita 3.1 crank with the C2 (all-conditions) brake set. The Maxxis Detonator (700 x 28c) tires of the
Warrior 800 are very responsive and are broad enough to handle the deepest ditches. The Optimo Road Warrior frame
is super durable and tough. This bike can handle even the toughest roads. Don’t be fooled by the light weight of
the bike, the amount of weight it can carry will surprise you. The back draw of this bike would be the seat, which
may be uncomfortable to some bikers, but clearly is easily replaced to suit your needs. The suspension fork is
missing from this bike so you may feel a teeny bit of discomfort while riding. Priced at $1,130 this bike is
available in two colours; orange and jet black (glossy finish).
You can expect very little mechanical problems from the Cannondale R800. The 800
has CAAD8 Optimo frame and Shimano 105 brake set. An innovative feature of this product is that the bike is
equipped with Hutchinson Top Speed foldable (700 x 23c) puncture proof tires. On the other hand, the wheels of the
r800 have caused some problems and the Shimano WH-R550 spokes are hard to find (if you need to replace them). You
can get the bike in jet black (matte) and raw hi-bright (gloss). You can get this bike for $1200.
The Cannondale Adventure 800 has a very attractive design and is installed with
the adventure headshok frame. This bike has the Lee Chi TX-120 w/cartridge pad and modulato. The Adventure 800 does
not perform well as a racing bike. It is more suited for pleasure riding or for daily commuting. The suspension is
fitted well so you can expect a comfortable ride. It comes in patriot blue (gloss) and charcoal grey. The adventure
800 retails at about $900.
